South Alabama men's and women's track and field have their first outdoor meet of the season, as they host the Jaguar Throws and Pole Vault Opener at Jaguar Track, March 2-3.

South Alabama finished in the top-five of both the men's and women's competition at the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships, held at the Birmingham CrossPlex Monday and Tuesday.

South Alabama track and field will compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Birmingham Monday and Tuesday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

High-jumper Dorian Curry was recognized as the Sun Belt Men's Field Athlete of the Week after his record-breaking performance on Sunday, the conference announced.

Two school records were beat, and a third tied, by South Alabama track and field athletes in the South Alabama Invitational on Sunday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
